Finn Says....

Finn is talking up a storm.  I don't want to forget this period of language learning, so I thought I would record some of my favorite Finn sayings at 2 years and 2 months:

-Carry you or Hold you (He is mixing up his pronouns and is constantly hearing me say, "do you want me to carry you" or "hold you?" He hasn't quite figured out that he needs to say, "Hold me."
-Os-car (He has been saying this for months any time he sees a garbage can or garbage truck.  A couple weeks ago I figured out that he was saying Oscar, as in Oscar the Grouch, who lives in a garbage can.)
-Go buy! (If I ever say that I don't have something or I'm out of something, he immediately says, "Go buy!")
-Help people (Apparently at some time in his life, I told him that emergency vehicles are going to help people because any time he hears a siren or sees a police car or fire engine he always says, "help people."  I like that he thinks this way, especially about police officers).
-Mommy in or Mommy come (When he wants me to follow him someplace or get in his crib- yes, I've been known to get in his crib to help him fall asleep- he always says, "Mommy" and then gives me a one word command for what he wants me to do).

Don't forget "guy" whenever he sees a moving vehicle.
